It's a quaint spot. Simple and good food. My first time there and ordered the 2x2x2 breakfast. Two eggs, two, pancakes, and choice of breakfast meat. I asked for the sausage patties. Sadly, they only give you ONE! So it's REALLY. 2x2x1. They have aguas frescas and a nice selection of bottlers Mexican beverages. I understand that weekends are menudo, handmade tortillas, and pan dulce. I'll be back despite the less than perfect first visit. Located right next to the Arco gas station off of Azusa Ave and Workman. Parking is easy. Went on a Friday. Go when you are NOT in a hurry. There was only one server on Friday and it took a bit to help. She did her best. Maybe weekends will have more help.

This restaurant is great. The Machaca is delicious, and I love that they serve handmade corn tortillas along with cafe con canela. The girls are very sweet and attentive. Great food and service. I definitely recommend it. There's plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

Stopped in for my birthday breakfast on 11/11. Indoor and patio dining currently available. SERVICE: Service is usually good, but can be a little slow when they're slammed on the weekends. Weekday morning was only 25% occupied and everything went smooth, and food came out quickly. Everyone is friendly, courteous, and attitude-free. FOOD: I ordered the Steak & Eggs (2, over easy) with hash browns and tortillas. My wife had the daily special, Costillas de Puerco (Pork Ribs) in a red sauce, served with rice, beans, and tortillas. We've never been disappointed with the food. It's very popular for breakfast, so sometimes there's a wait. Plenty of parking front and rear. One downside, there's only one bathroom, so plan accordingly. The bathroom key sits on the red bubble gum/candy machine to the right of the door.
